The Tennessee Titans moved up three spots in a deal with the Baltimore Ravens to get the No. 22 pick and secure Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans.
Why the Titans traded with the Ravens to move up and take Rashaan Evans
Rashaan Evans will be an immediate starter in the middle of the Tennessee defense.

In the deal, the Ravens picked up a fourth-round pick and sent a sixth-round pick back to Tennessee.
Linebackers from Alabama are typically a good decision for the teams that take them and the Titans likely got an immediate starter who should contend for Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
Evans will presumably slot in as a starter next to Wesley Woodyard in the Tennessee defense and gives the Titans an additional pass rushing threat with Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan both approaching the tail end of their careers.
It’s also a relatively cheap deal that only involves a swap of third-day picks, making it a huge win for the Titans and a little puzzling for the Ravens who already moved back earlier in the night.
