Remember the old FIFA World Cup games that EA Sports used to make? Well, EA Sports is going to be dropping a 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia patch just in time for the World Cup. The update is scheduled to drop on May 29 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch and June 6 for mobile.
‘FIFA 18’ is getting a huge update just in time for the World Cup
Get ready.

Instead of making an entirely separate game like the old days, this update will let you choose from the 32 nations that qualified and compete in offline matches, online friendlies and online tournament modes. The update will also feature the official 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ graphic and all 12 stadiums from Russia.
In addition to that, you’ll be able to create your own custom tournament and select any licensed national team in FIFA 18. That means you can make a World Cup tournament team that includes the United States, even though they didn’t make the tournament. In case you forgot that.
Oh, and I almost forgot, Ultimate Team fans will have the opportunity to acquire some of the best players in the history of the tournament.
It’s time to clear up space on my PS4.
