Capitals parade 2018: Map, route, and street closures for Stanley Cup championship celebration

Everything you need to know about the Capitals’ Stanley Cup parade.

The Washington Capitals will continue partying on Tuesday when they ride through the streets of Washington, D.C. to celebrate their first Stanley Cup. If the Capitals’ raucous watch parties during the Stanley Cup Final are any indication, this long-awaited championship parade is going to be a party to remember.

Here is everything you need to know if you plan to attend the parade:

Time: 11 a.m. ET

Parade route: The parade will start on Constitution Avenue and 17th Street NW. It will run to 7th Street NW and the National Mall where the Capitals will host an “#ALLCAPS” rally.

Street closures: Here is a full list of street closures, which was released by Mayor Bowser’s office on June 8. Fans are encouraged to use the Metro for transportation purposes.
