This very good dog ran from its owner to play catch with baseball players
You can’t even get mad at this good dog.

The Tulsa Drillers, a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, held a dog night at the park. That happens fairly often in baseball. Good dogs hang out in the bleachers with their owners and soak up the nice weather. There are even dedicated drinking stations for these pups.
But one dog in particular wanted more out of the experience. So when its chance came to hang out on the field, it ran away from its owner and towards the baseball players practicing — because they all had those baseballs!
Poor pup didn’t even know what to do once it got near one. As it went to home plate to chase the ball the catcher had, it was already distracted with another and ran off to get that one. The players seemed to enjoy the quick game of catch. I imagine that’s what doggie nirvana must be like, only with unlimited baseballs and an infinite number of humans throwing them.
It’s not surprising that this good pup decided to drop everything and chase around all the baseballs. It’s more surprising that this doesn’t happen more often at dog-friendly ballpark events.
At least it didn’t poop on the field like Klay Thompson’s dog Rocco did at Dodger Stadium.
