Draft night is when soon-to-be NBA players bring out their best outfits, and no incoming rookie pulled off their fit better than Wendell Carter Jr., the Duke product expected to go in the top 10 of the 2018 NBA Draft.
Wendell Carter Jr.’s ‘Black Panther’-inspired outfit won NBA Draft night
His suit was fire.
Carter wore an all-black suit with a Gucci cloth draped over his shoulder. He told NBA TV the outfit was inspired by the Black Panther movie.
His parents wore matching outfits as they accompanied him down the aisle, too.
There’s no telling how Carter’s career trajectory pans out, but we’re grading on his outfit alone, he’s the clear-cut favorite in this year’s draft class.
