What’s your favorite NFL record? Is it one that sees a new name on top each year? A long-standing record that may never be broken? Does it come at the expense of your rival team?
NFL records come in different shapes, sizes, and levels of importance
Get your records here! Tuesday’s Rise ‘n Grind helps to kick off Records Week, looks back on the Minnesota Miracle and offers an updated look at Andrew Luck’s status.

This week is Records Week for SB Nation’s NFL team. We’re taking a look at things like Emmitt Smith’s 18,355 yard career rushing record and Peyton Manning saying Drew Brees ‘deserves’ to break his NFL passing records. Don’t tell that to Broncos fans though, who hope Manning’s 2013 season lives on in the record books for all of time.
Did you know Aaron Rodgers owns the NFL’s career passer rating record. And the guy behind him isn’t even close.
There’s one NFL record that happened quite recently. You may remember the January 2018 NFC Divisional Round playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. You likely remember it for ending with the NFL’s only walk-off touchdown in playoff history. Then-Vikings quarterback Case Keenum actually broke down the entire thing last week. It was a beauty.
We’d love to hear from you about the NFL record you’d most like to see broken or any favorite NFL records you have. Get in touch with us on Twitter or in the comments section below!
