Saturday was moving day part one at the NCAA baseball tournament. Sunday will see fewer teams ushered off, but we’re mere hours from finding out who the 16 super regional participants will be in this year’s college ball tilt.
NCAA Baseball Tournament 2018: Time, TV/live stream info for Regionals Day 3

One of the more surprising stories from Saturday’s regional action was the swift exit of No. 7 overall national seed Florida State, who lost on Friday night to Samford, then on Saturday to Mississippi State in highly dramatic fashion. Bulldogs slugger Elijah MacNamee blasted a three-run walk off homer to seal a 3-2 win and FSU must now sit in Tallahassee and watch others play on their baseball diamond. Woof.
After rain botched the Oxford regional on Friday, forcing the opening two games into Saturday, No. 4 overall national seed came out strong after a somewhat shaky start to knock off Saint Louis, 9-2. They’ll play three games in Oxford on Sunday, with whoever loses in the first two squaring off in the third. Such is the nature of a double elimination baseball tournament in early June.
Below is the full schedule for the third day of regional round action. A handful of these tilts will be decided by close of business on Sunday. Others will require some to come into the office on Monday.
