LeBron James took his talents to Los Angeles, and according to The Vertical’s Shams Charania, Lance Stephenson is following him there.
Lance Stephenson and LeBron James are teammates now. WTF
This is really happening.

Stephenson agreed to a deal with the Lakers on Sunday, a surprising development given his history as one of the biggest irritants James has faced in his playing career. After all, it was Stephenson who blew in James’s ear during the 2014 playoffs, and it was Stephenson who got James T’d up in the first round of this year’s playoffs, too.
The two have history, and now they’ll be teammates. It makes for interesting basketball on the court, and one really interesting relationship off of it.
At his best, Stephenson is a playmaker who can create for himself and his teammates. He used to be a semi-reliable shooter from distance, but his sub-30 percent shooting from three last season raised some eyebrows.
What he certainly is, though, is help. He’s a player who can take some of the pressure off of James on offense, and he’s one fewer irritating defender The King will have to encounter throughout the season.
