This jet sweep hot potato pass is all the rage in the NFL. The Dolphins ran it to perfection
It’s a copycat league.


A perfect example is this jet sweep touch pass that the Miami Dolphins nailed for an 18-yard touchdown against the Raiders.
The play gets the ball to a speedy receiver — Jakeem Grant in the Dolphins’ case — in space with some blockers out in front.
But Miami is just the latest on a growing list of teams that have called the play.

Miami’s touchdown in Week 3 sparked a comeback with the Dolphins scoring 21 unanswered to beat the Raiders. But their creative touchdown play to Grant is a play they scooped from another team, and they likely won’t be the last to do it.
