The sixth edition of the unbelievably cute Kitten Bowl takes place at 2pm ET this Sunday afternoon on the Hallmark Channel. Beth Stern, the North Shore Animal League America National Spokesperson, hosts the event that features oodles of adopted/adoptable kittens playing something football-adjacent.

Kitten Bowl VI will throw 36 fur-ocious (not sorry) on to one of four teams:
- Last Hope Lions
- Little Longtails
- North Shore Bengals
- Pouncy Panthers
They all have great names, none of which top Cat-son Wentz of the North Shore Bengals.

The Kitten Bowl features a little bit of everything: disinterested kittens, kittens tackling each other, kittens playing with mini footballs, super disinterested kittens, and hopefully the return of the dog Ruffus the Rufferee.
This promo clip from Hallmark makes it look like Dean Cain is going to be there, and—if it’s anything like the movie he was in with Les Miles—that means it’s cant-miss...or cat-miss (ok, I feel a little bad about that one).
