This beer pong trick-shot game is the must-try sport of quarantine

This is a wonderful game.

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

The idea of playing beer pong without a crowd felt like the saddest way to adapt to quarantine — and then I saw this.

Setting up pots and pans to turn a beer pong shot into a trick shot video undoubtedly took a lot of time and effort to get the angles and bounces down. But seeing the practice turn into triumph is pretty much the only thing that will make me smile today.

The thing that’s great about this sport is that anyone can play, of any age, using stuff they likely already have laying around. Start with one pot and work your way up. By the time this is all over I’m hoping we see videos of people using a full 12-piece set of cookware to turn their living rooms into elaborate Rube Goldberg machines of beer pong delightfulness.

The world needs it.
