Everything in the world is topsy-turvy, but it’s nice to know we always have the Washington Wizards to fall back on for some hilarity. On Monday night the Wizards and Nets met in NBA preseason, giving up the battle we never knew we needed: Kyle Kuzma vs. Ben Simmons.

We finally got an answer to the age of question of “What happens when a stoppable force meets a moveable object?” This moment of mutually-assured futility was the perfect encapsulation of just how much the NBA has changed in a few short years. It felt like only yesterday Kuzma was blossiming into a promising young star, while Simmons seemed poised to become the face of the NBA. Now they’re struggling to determine who is the worst player out there.

Simmons ended up having the last laugh. Kuzma finished with 7 points, while Simmons ended with 11 points and f5 boards.
