It is fair to say that we have not seen anything like Colorado superstar Travis Hunter.

Sure, there have been players who have played both ways before in football. It was never easy for any one of them and certainly hasn’t been for Hunter. He made it look that way though last season as he won the Heisman Trophy.

For so long it has been inevitable that Hunter will be a top pick in the NFL Draft and go on to be the center of his team. That is an insane kind of pressure. It is the type of spotlight he has been living under for not just his collegiate football life, but basically all of it dating back to when he first began playing the game.

That kind of life can either wear on you or help you thrive. It is clear that the latter is the case for Hunter and I wanted to understand why. Thankfully my friends at SNICKERS provided me with an opportunity to catch up with him this week! You can watch our conversation below.

I’ve had the incredible fortune of interviewing a lot of players in my career and I would offer that none of them were as polished and prepared for the conversation as Travis was. I can’t even imagine what he was like sitting down with different NFL teams throughout this entire draft process.

What I found to be the most interesting was that every time I asked Travis about playing both ways in the NFL, he simply let his play do the talking. He expressed supreme confidence in himself in the most humble way possible and knows that he is going to succeed. I can’t say that I have talked to many people like that in general let alone NFL stars.

As mentioned, Travis was made available on behalf of SNICKERS and they are capitalizing on his special abilities to play multiple positions.

SNICKERS Ice Cream is teaming up with the ultimate two-way star and top NFL Draft prospect, Travis Hunter to drop the exclusive SNICKERS x Travis Hunter Two-Pack – featuring both the iconic SNICKERS candy bar and SNICKERS Ice Cream bar in one two-pack for the first time ever.

From April 21st to April 25th, NFL and SNICKERS Ice Cream fans alike can visit snickers.com/twopack for a chance to purchase the limited-edition SNICKERS x Travis Hunter Two-Pack, featuring Travis’ signature. A limited batch will drop daily – but like a first-round pick, they’ll be gone fast!

Our thanks to Travis and SNICKERS for the time. It is going to be very exciting to see where he winds up next week.
