There is golf happening all over the place this week.

From a major standpoint the LPGA began their first of the season in the Chevron Championship at The Woodlands. Over on the PGA Tour the Zurich Classic is going on in New Orleans with duos pairing up in the event’s unique format.

Team golf is the name of the game as far as LIV is concerned and their tour is in action in Mexico City this week. While they don’t begin play until Friday they are obviously preparing and Crushers GC shared a video on Thursday of Bryson DeChambeau absolutely launching a drive over 400 yards.

As the post notes there is some elevation at play here which is certainly helping form a scientific standpoint (Bryson is a scientist after all).

LIV’s Mexico City event is taking place at Club de Golf Chapultepec which is 7,385 yards in total. There are a few par 4s that may be reachable for Bryson given all variables which means he could post a rather low score if he is able to keep the ball in play.

We will see what the weekend has in store for him and his squad.
