The Charles Schwab began play at Colonial on Thursday and it did not take long for fireworks to pop off.

Joel Dahmen, who has been coming quite close at times this season, dunked one on the par-3 13th hole. It was a thing of beauty.

Dahmen coasted all 186 yards for his 1 and notably wrote that number down for the first time in his career.

As noted, Dahmen has come close at times this season with the most notable instance being at Corales Puntacana where he ultimately lost by a single stroke. It has been a solid season for him overall, but a first career ace has to arguably be one of the better highlights from it all.

We will see if Dahman can contend throughout the rest of the tournament, but as noted the moment from Thursday will likely still feel pretty great even if he doens’t.

Kudos to Joel!
