Bubba Watson has high hopes for the LIV Golf Individual Championship at Chatham Hills

Bubba Watson experienced all things Indiana this past week.

Bubba Watson had quite the week in Indiana.

Odds are if you pay attention to sports on any level that you saw him around the area this past week. Bubba appeared on Pat McAfee, watched Caitlin Clark’s Fever squad and soaked in all things relative to the area. If only the Pacers had been in town!

Watson was in the Hoosier state this week to generate some attention for the upcoming LIV Golf Individual Championship that is taking place at Chatham Hills in August. It didn’t hurt that the Indy 500 is this weekend either.

Bubba spent a lot of time talking about how Indiana is a mecca of sports and these days it is hard to disagree with him. Adding a significant event in the world of golf like LIV’s Individual Championship will only serve to further that cause.

This LIV season has been a bit rough for the individual members of Bubba’s RangeGoats GC, but they do currently sit 8th in the team standings.

Thankfully there is some time between now and August to close the gap.
