The last few years have certainly been trying for Will Zalatoris.

At different times Zalatoris has battled ailments with regards to his back and on Memorial Day he shared that he recently underwent an assessment that concluded surgery was necessary. In a note shared to Instagram, Willy Z made mention of looking forward to returning in the fall.

First and foremost the thing that matters most is Will’s health. HIs note is encouraging that things could be on the rise in that sense.

In 11 events this season Zalatoris notched only one finish inside of the top 20, a T12 at the American Express way back in January. He missed the cut at both The Masters and the recent PGA Championship.

It stands to reason that this back issue was ailing him at that point in time. Hopefully as mentioned things can improve on that front.

All the best to Zalatoris in his recovery.
