Memorial Day Weekend was a busy one in the world of collegiate golf as the men’s national championship was unfolding.

Michael La Sasso took home the individual crown while match play marches on at the time of this writing to determine who our team winner will be. The women’s national winners were finalized last week as Northwestern shocked the world by beating Stanford in the final match.

As far as the men’s side of things is concerned though the finalization of the national championship at large is significant as it helps button up the PGA Tour University Class of 2025. The group was announced on Monday evening and North Carolina’s David Ford takes the top spot.

There are certain exemptions that accompany different rankings within the top 25. Ford is exempt on the PGA Tour through all of the 2026 season which is quite the luxury.

Congratulations to all the golfers here who earned various exemptions. Here’s to them making the most of them all!
