We live in a day and age where golf is available all over the place.

Thursday marked the beginning of a new era in that sense. Grass League, the world’s first high-stakes par-3 golf league, announced expansion that was led by Creator Sports Capital, this is the firm behind Good Good Golf’s recent fundraise, and Old Tom Capital which is the golf industry’s leading strategic investor. This whole thing is going to help grow the league experience and scale so that it can continue to blossom.

Grass League was founded in 2023 and has two seasons of play to date. Part of what is unique about it, beyond the fact that it is a par-3 league, is that it blends together professionals and amateurs within the league’s play.

At the moment Grass League features 11 franchises throughout 11 different cities with a presence in Canada. Their matches can be seen on Peacock, Golf Channel and YouTube and is scratching the itch that we all have for more golf in our lives.

A browse through Grass League’s players list will show all of the contenders throughout the rosters, including Garrett Clark and Brad Dalke from Good Good.

Expansion for Grass League is a win for golf fans everywhere. Here’s to what lies ahead!
