Derrick Rose would ‘kill’ his own mother on the basketball court

Derrick Rose had this to say from Bulls training camp:

Now, you may interpret this is as, “I am relentlessly competitive to the point that I would not dilute my game even against a far weaker opponent,” but I prefer to imagine that Brenda Rose is actually quite good at basketball and this is mere gamesmanship on her son’s part. In fact, maybe he’s suggesting that he’d have to incapacitate his mom to prevent her from dominating him. What kind of mindset is THAT, huh, Derrick!?

Anyway, some team should sign Derrick Rose’s mom.
