It’s Allen Iverson night in Philadelphia, with both the man and his miniature, slack-necked facsimile in the building for the Sixers’ meeting with the Bobcats. Both Iverson and his bobblehead seem interested in playing basketball at some point in the future. Iverson, in an emotional interview with CSN Philadelphia, reasserted his willingness to return to the league if the opportunity arose. Given that the only recent interest Iverson’s received has been from the D-League, that’s probably not in the cards, but that only leaves Iverson more time to spend with his kids.

Meanwhile, mini-Iverson actually got himself onto the court in Philly this evening. Though the bobblehead might be more viable as a productive Sixer than, say, Royal Ivey, he was excluded on account of having very small hands and refusing to let go of his tiny, non-regulation basketball.
