Rice running back Jayson Carter is 4’9 and 140 pounds. On Wednesday, he carried the ball for the second time in his career, getting an attempt during Rice’s Hawaii Bowl win against Fresno State:

That wasn’t a gentle carry, either. He bounced off quite a hard hit.
Carter got his first carry in October of last year after three years putting in work on the scout team. He walked onto the Owls after a high school career with more than 1,000 yards rushing and a heap of tackles on defense, too.
