Monta Ellis buries one-legged game-winner to beat Bucks
Brandon Knight buried a jumper to tie the game for the Bucks, but Monta Ellis got his former team right back. With 8 seconds left, Ellis dribbled out the entire clock, careened into traffic, then spun away with what miiiiight have been a travel to sink the winner before the buzzer. They celebrated (Mark Cuban, too, naturally):
... the Mavs pulled the you-can’t-take-away-the-basket-if-we-run-off-the-court trick ...
... but it counted anyway. It was off in time, and the refs couldn’t review the extra step Ellis might have taken.
