Oregon is playing Michigan State. Michigan State went to the Rose Bowl. Therefore...Duck farting roses?

Is that it? Is that the joke? Rose Bowl? Is it an OutKast reference somehow? Do farts come out as speech bubbles? Please help explain this to me.
