Henrik Lundqvist remains eerily consistent and almost perfect in Game 7s

Henrik Lundqvist played remarkably in the Rangers’ Game 7 overtime win over the Capitals: 35 saves, 97 percent save percentage, and just the one Alex Ovechkin goal in the early going. Everything else was sublime:

A Game 7 win with 35 saves on May 13 is impressive on its own. In context, it’s uncanny:

It’s amazing how calm Lundqvist was after the game, while still divulging how acutely aware he was of the precision and luck necessary to achieve what he achieved:

I guess you’ve gotta possess that kind of quiet mindfulness to pull off near-perfection over and over again. The man is amazing. You could literally set your watch by him at this point.
