Zach LaVine did ridiculous alley-oop dunks with footballs because he can

“WHY IS HE STILL DUNKING?”

When Slam Dunk champ Zach LaVine is using footballs for a training exercise, things are bound to turn into a football-dunking contest. The last one is the best:

I’d never really considered it before, but isn’t it kind of lame and unsatisfying that football players can score by just catching the ball and standing in the end zone? You should have to catch the ball and dunk it on the uprights in one motion for the touchdown to count. Or at least that should be how extra points work.

Or maybe the NBA should use a football for long alley-oop passes? Like, if you see your dude running down court, you can snatch a football off the scorer’s table and use that instead of the normal ball?

Or did Zach LaVine just invent a whole new sport?
