Tristan Thompson doesn’t eat seafood because ‘fish eat their poos’

Dave McMenamin learned some great facts about Tristan Thompson for this ESPN piece. Here is one great fact about Tristan Thompson:

He also doesn’t like seafood, which he gets from his mom, Andrea Brooks. “I don’t like fish,” Brooks said. “Because the fish eat their poos. I don’t eat that stuff. Fish eat their own poo. So, I’m not eating fish.”

So, neither Tristan nor his mother eat fish, because fish eat fish poop. This needs some investigating.

I said *poos*, not poop, but okay. So, they might or might not eat their own poos. But what about other animals? I went to the Wikipedia page for Coprophagy at my job and found that:

- Rabbits eat their own poos

- Cows sometimes eat chicken poos

- Pigs sometimes eat their own poos

- Plants eat animal poos

So, by this logic, NONE of those creatures are edible. WHAT NOW, TRISTAN?
