Tom Brady Sr. says his son is victim of ‘Framegate’

The Wells Report on the Patriots’ DeflateGate makes it sound very likely that the Pats deliberately tampered with footballs and that Tom Brady was knowingly involved in the process. Punishment may be swift and strong. Brady himself has yet to comment, but his dad wasted no time:

“This thing is so convoluted. ... They say that possibly — possibly — he was aware of this. The reality is if you can’t prove he did it, then he’s innocent, and lay off him. That’s the bottom line.”

Brady Sr. went on to strongly state the NFL was far more concerned about is image than that of the three-time Super Bowl MVP, long one of the faces of the league.

“The league had to cover themselves,” said Brady Sr. “The reality is they had no conclusive evidence.

“This was Framegate right from the beginning.”

There’s much more in the USA Today report -- including Brady Sr. suggesting a Colts conspiracy -- but yo ... FRAMEGATE. You can’t gate a gate, but Tom Brady Sr. just gated a gate. Or he gated a frame. I dunno.
