Matt Negrin
Matt Negrin has never written about sports, but he’s written about politics, and he’s pretty sure they’re the same thing. (He once caught* a foul ball tossed by Stephen Strasburg.) He started his career at age 12, as the head news anchor at Little Run Elementary. He’s also worked at The New York Times, ABC News, and Politico. Matt has covered revolution in Egypt, culture in Tokyo**, and elections in Washington. In 2012, he got George W. Bush to endorse Mitt Romney by cornering him in an elevator***. Now he’s writing a book about soccer fanatics around the world and at the World Cup. In 50 years when human consciousness is converted to cyber energy, you’ll be able to read all of his memories on Twitter under @mattnegrin or on his site awayandhome.com.
