It’s the Granddaddy of Them All! The 2013 Rose Bowl will be the main attraction on New Year’s Day, as always. It has traditionally featured the champion of the Big Ten battling with the champion of the Pac-12.

Big Ten champion Wisconsin will play in the Rose Bowl for the third straight time, while Stanford represents the Pac-12.
And this year, it'll pair Nebraska-destroying Wisconsin, the first five-loss team in game history, with Stanford, which outlasted UCLA on Friday night. The game will be sure to be hard-hitting and a trenches brawl, with Montee Ball and Stepfan Taylor two of the country's best backs. (Also, Stanford's front seven is way, way better than Nebraska's is.)
The Cardinal and Badgers have played five times all-time, with Wisconsin winning their 2000 Rose Bowl matchup.
With a few exceptions in the BCS era, the game has always been a battle of the best team from each conference, and outside the BCS National Championship has generally received the best ratings.
