The Hannover midfielder has suffered an ACL tear.
Leon Andreasen tears his ACL
Hannover 96 have confirmed that Leon Andreasen has torn his ACL following an MRI on Thursday morning. The midfielder collapsed to the pitch just eight minutes into Wednesday’s match against Nürnberg and had to be substituted.
Andreasen had been in excellent form to start this season since returning from a 28 month layoff due to a continuous groin injury. It’s not yet known exactly how long he’ll be out, but this type of injury usually sidelines people for 6-9 months.

The club has released a statement via their official Twitter account stating that Andreasen would have an MRI completed on Thursday. Speculation is already running rampant that he has suffered a torn ACL.
