The NIT is underway with the opening rounds hosted at campus sites across the United States, bringing the intimate feeling of college basketball into the postseason in a way rarely seen in the men’s NCAA tournament.

This leads to the No. 1 seed having an even larger advantage than simply getting the lower seeds in the tournament, with both the home crowd tilt and financial boon from hosting NIT games having an impact on the school, which is critical for mid-major programs. Here is the full schedule for the NIT tournament, the bracket, as well as the results of games completed so far.
