Thanks to a 75-68 loss to the Duke Blue Devils on Nov. 13, the Kentucky Wildcats fell from No. 3 to No. 8 in the poll updated Monday. Kentucky, which has a 4-1 record, has won three straight since the early loss.

The Wildcats fall, but Indiana and Louisville stay on top.

Indiana (6-0) and Duke (5-1) are the top two teams, respectively. With Kentucky falling down the charts, Michigan jumped to the No. 3 position with a 5-0 record.
Other teams who suffered big hits in the poll were Kansas (No. 7 to No. 10), North Carolina State (No. 6 to No. 18) and Baylor, which fell out of the top 25.
Michigan State (5-1) made a nice jump in the rankings. The Spartans moved from 21st to No. 13 thanks to a five-game winning streak. Michigan State lost its opener at UConn, but haven’t lost since.
Previously unranked teams Georgetown (No. 20) and Illinois (No. 23) are now sitting in the top 25.
