Arkansas guard BJ Young suspended two games
The sophomore guard ‘violated team rules.’

Young wasn’t in Arkansas’ lineup against LeMoyne-Owen on Monday. He won’t play in the regular season opener, either, against Sam Houston State on Friday.
Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson didn’t say Monday night how Young violated team rules, according to CBS Sports.
Young, a preseason all-SEC selection, averaged a team-leading 15.3 points per game last season as a freshman. He averaged 25.2 minutes, 2.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
The Razorbacks are coming off an 18-14 overall record last season. Arkansas finished 6-10 in the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished in the bottom four of the SEC last season, ahead of Auburn (5-11), Georgia (5-11) and South Carolina (2-14).
After opening against Sam Houston on Friday night, the Razorbacks will remain home for their next two games. They’ll host Longwood on Nov. 18 and Florida A&M on Nov. 20.
