The Tennessee Volunteers upset the 23rd ranked Wichita St. Shockers at home on Thursday night, 69-60. The game was close the entire way with neither team able to pull away by more than a couple points. The Vols took a 60-59 led when Kenny Hall sunk a free throw with just over three minutes remaining, and they would hold onto the lead for the rest of the way.
