The N.C. State Wolfpack opened up a sizable lead in the first half against the Norfolk St. Spartans, and coasted in the second half to a 84-62 win. The 25th ranked Wolfpack shot over 57 percent from the floor as a team, and dished out 21 assists as a team. They also outrebounded the Spartans 41-28.

The Wolfpack shot over 50% from the floor as a team, and were able to stay comfortably ahead of the Spartans for the whole game.


T.J. Warren led N.C. State with 21 points, while shooting 9-11 from the floor. Lorenzo Brown was 7-8 shooting en route to 16 points and seven assists. Richard Powell picked up a double double with 12 points and 19 rebounds, and C.J. Leslie chipped in with 11 points.
Malcolm Hawkins led the Spartans with 16 points, and Rashid Gaston chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds. The Spartans shot just over 33 percent from the floor, and only 19 percent from three-point range.
The Wolfpack next play on Tuesday, Dec. 18, when they host the Stanford Cardinal at PNC Arena.
