The No. 24 Oklahoma State Cowboys routed the Central Arkansas Bears, 91-63, at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla., on Sunday afternoon.

Oklahoma State cruised past Central Arkansas on Sunday, thanks in part to a 31-8 run to close out the first half.


Cowboys swingman Le’Bryan Nash scored 22 points to lead his club, while four others reached double figures in scoring. Oklahoma State shot 50.8 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Bears, 49-33.
Central Arkansas started hot, taking a 22-11 lead after Jarvis Garner’s layup eight minutes into the game. However, after taking a timeout, Oklahoma State immediately went on a 13-0 run to claim the lead and never looked back.
The Cowboys finished the first half on a 31-8 run, taking a 42-30 lead into the locker room. Oklahoma State continued its momentum into the second half, outscoring the Bears, 49-33, after the break.
Oklahoma State has three games remaining in its non-conference schedule, with the Texas-Arlington Mavericks and Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles visiting Stillwater before the Cowboys' showdown with the No. 14 Gonzaga Bulldogs on Dec. 31.
