No. 10 Ohio State recovered from their second loss of the season against the Kansas Jayhawks by steamrolling Chicago State on Saturday. The Buckeyes got off to a slow start, but ultimately downed the Cougars, 87-44.

The Ohio State Buckeyes dominated the Chicago State Cougars on Saturday, winning 87-44.


The Buckeyes only out-scored the Cougars 37-24 in the first half, but quickly pulled away in the second, putting up a 50-20 differential in that frame.
Deshaun Thomas led the way for the Buckeyes, shooting 7-for-13 with eight rebounds and four assists, all good for 17 points on the day. LaQuinton Ross was behind him with 15 points, while Evan Ravenel added 10 rebounds.
For the Cougars, nobody really stood out, as the team as a whole shot just 26.5 percent from the field. To contrast, the Buckeyes shot 56.9 percent, including 47.1 percent from range.
Next, the 10-2 Buckeyes will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Wednesday, while 3-12 Chicago State will take on the Toledo Rockets on Monday.
