Utah State basketball guard-forward Danny Berger was hospitalized after collapsing during practice.

Berger was flown to the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. For awhile, Berger appeared to stop breathing, but he eventually was revived. Utah State spokesman Tim Vitale stated that emergency responders used a defibrillator to revive Berger.
The 6’6, 205-pound Berger originates from Medford, Ore., and is in his junior year of college. Berger is currently in his second season in Utah State after transferring from a community college in Oregon. Before he attended Chemetka, he served a two-year mission in Detroit as a LDS member.
Berger is currently averaging 7.6 points per game, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in around 22 minutes of action for Utah State. The year before he averaged 25 to 26 minutes and averaged 6.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Utah State will be playing a rivalry game with BYU in Provo on Wednesday.
