No. 3 Duke vs. Georgia Tech final score: Blue Devils defeat Yellow Jackets, 73-57

Duke used a dominant second half to overcome a slow start against Georgia Tech on Thursday.

The No. 3 Duke Blue Devils overcame a halftime deficit to defeat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 73-57, on Thursday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C.

The Blue Devils, who entered the game coming off their first loss of the season, started sluggishly against the Yellow Jackets, falling down 9-2 and 15-8 in the opening minutes. Duke fought back to cut the deficit to one at halftime, then started the second half on a 22-6 run, taking a 15-point lead after Quinn Cook's layup with 13:56 remaining. The Blue Devils never looked back from that point, as Georgia Tech didn't get closer than 11 points for the rest of the game.

Seth Curry paced Duke with 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 6 of 7 from beyond the three-point arc. Mason Plumlee added 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils, while Chris Bolden led Georgia Tech with 20 points

Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, with Duke (16-1) facing a road game against Miami and Georgia Tech (10-6) returning to Tobacco Road to face North Carolina.
