The Shockers would get things together, though, on their way to a 62-52 victory over the Bears in Springfield.
Neither team had a good night from the floor. Wichita State emerged as the better shooters, hitting 37 percent of their shots compared to 32.8 for Missouri State. Both teams were also an identical 5-of-21 from beyond the arc.
