College hoops Wednesday: No. 1 Duke demolished, No. 9 Butler also falls

The Missouri State Bears would make things interesting against the No. 20 Wichita State Shockers in the second half, taking a lead for part of the final frame. The Shockers would get things together, though, on their way to a 62-52 victory over the Bears in Springfield.

Neither team had a good night from the floor. Wichita State emerged as the better shooters, hitting 37 percent of their shots compared to 32.8 for Missouri State. Both teams were also an identical 5-of-21 from beyond the arc.

Wednesday nights have meant madness over the past few weeks, so let’s take a look at where that madness will evolve from this evening.
