No. 1 Duke vs. No. 25 Miami final score: Hurricanes thrash Blue Devils, 90-63

Duke lost their second ACC game on the road this season, while Miami stayed perfect in conference play.

Most expected a competitive game in southern Florida on Wednesday night when the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils faced off against the No. 25 Miami Hurricanes. But atrocious shooting from Duke and Miami's inability to miss led to a 42-19 halftime lead for the Hurricanes, and they'd go on to win, 90-63.

As a team, Duke shot just 30.1 percent from the field, while Miami dropped 56.9 percent of their shots. Four Blue Devils finished the game with double-digits scoring, with Alex Murphy picking up 11 points off the bench. The Hurricanes also had four players in double digits on the evening, with Durand Scott leading the charge with 25 points. Kenny Kadji and Shane Larkin finished with 22 and 18 points, while Trey McKinney Jones had 10 points.

Most of Duke's normally steady scorers couldn't get anything going. Seth Curry missed every single one of his 10 shots, while Quinn Cook fared little better, hitting just one of his 12 shots. Mason Plumlee had 15 points, while Rasheed Sulaimon and Amile Jefferson also finished in double digits at 15 and 13 points.

Duke will head home to play the Maryland Terrapins this Saturday, while the Hurricanes will stay in the friendly confines of the BankUnited Center to face their in-state rival, the Florida State Seminoles, on the same day.
