No. 10 Gonzaga vs. Santa Clara final score: Bulldogs escape with 81-74 road win
No. 10 Gonzaga extended its winning streak to six consecutive games, this time defeating conference foe Santa Clara at the Leavey Center.

Gonzaga and Santa Clara battled for most of the first half before the Bulldogs began a 12-4 run to give themselves breathing room to end the first half, entering halftime with a seven point lead.
Again, though, the Broncos would come back in the second half, even cutting their deficit to just one point with 13 minutes left in the second half. The game never got away from Santa Clara, but time eventually ran out on them, ending their comeback efforts.
Olynyk had himself a game for Gonzaga, scoring 33 points while collecting 10 rebounds. Santa Clara’s Kevin Foster did his best to match him, scoring 29 points.
The Bulldogs will now wait until Jan. 10 to host the visiting St. Mary's Gaels in what will be Gonzaga's third conference game of the year.
