Missouri confirmed that forward Laurence Bowers will miss at least two games to recover from a sprained MCL.
Laurence Bowers to miss at least 2 games

USA TODAY SportsBowers is a redshirt senior with past knee problems, as he was forced to sit out Missouri’s entire 2011-12 season after tearing his ACL. The Tigers had a remarkable year, but lacked a significant inside presence. Bowers returned this season to provide that production at the forward position, and appeared to regain his old form. He’s averaging 16.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 28.4 minutes per game.
At 12-2, Missouri is ranked in the top 10 as they start their first season in the SEC. Losing Bowers is a significant blow, but hopefully for Haith and the Tigers, he will only miss a few games while recovering from the MCL sprain.
