Kansas State Wildcats point guard Jevon Thomas will not be allowed to play for the Wildcats until Dec. 21, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Kansas State point guard Jevon Thomas ineligible until mid-December
The Wildcats’ point guard enrolled in January but won’t be able to play until Dec. 21.

Thomas was projected to start at the point for a Kansas State team that lost its top two scorers from last year's 27-8 squad. One of those scorers was point guard Angel Rodriguez, who transferred to Miami.
Head coach Bruce Weber said that combo guard Will Spradling will shift over to the point to fill in for Thomas, who will be eligible to play when the Wildcats take on Gonzaga in the Wichita Wildcat Classic. When that happens, Spradling is expected to move back to shooting guard.
Thomas enrolled at Kansas State in January, but was declared a partial qualifier after playing for three high schools. He eventually graduated from St. John’s Northwest Military Academy in Wisconsin, where he averaged 15 points and seven assists per game. He was also named Most Outstanding Player at the National Prep School Invitational.
