Forward Devin Robinson, ranked No. 28 by ESPN in the class of 2014, committed to Florida on Wednesday in a press conference.
Forward Devin Robinson commits to Florida
The Gators’ roster might be loaded with question marks right now, but the 6’8 forward adds to an already solid 2014 class.

The wing from Chesterfield, Va. is ranked four or five stars in just about every recruiting service and joins Brandone Francis and Chris Chiozza in the Gators’ 2014 recruiting class. He chose Florida over Indiana, Connecticut, VCU and others.
Robinson had visited Gainesville earlier this month and left impressed with head coach Billy Donovan.
“I really connected with Coach Donovan. He gets straight to the point, and I need that and I like that,” said Robinson, who is the eighth-ranked small forward in his class. “I really felt I could trust him.”
The athletic 6’8 high school senior can play either forward position and can score both at the rim and beyond the arc. Robinson is also touted as a disciplined defender whose overall ceiling is incredibly high.
Robinson is also close with Florida freshman Michael Frazier, who helped sell the program, according to ESPN.
