No. 20 Wisconsin vs. Green Bay final score: Badgers survive road challenge from Green Bay, 69-66

Wisconsin withstood 32 points from Green Bay’s Keifer Sykes to win a close one on the road.

Four days after beating the No. 11 Florida Gators, the No. 20 Wisconsin Badgers had a tough time taking care of the unranked Green Bay Phoenix. Frank Kaminsky led the Badgers with 16 points, eight rebounds and four blocks as Wisconsin escaped with a 69-66 win.

Keifer Sykes led all scorers and carried Green Bay with 32 points. The Phoenix trailed by just five at halftime and battled back to take the lead on a Sykes jumper less than three minutes into the second half. Green Bay extended the lead to seven a few minutes later before a quick 7-2 run from Wisconsin brought it back down to two.

The Badgers regained the lead on a layup from Kaminsky coming out of the under-eight media timeout and Wisconsin never trailed again.

Green Bay trailed by three and had a shot to tie the game with five seconds left, but Sykes missed one from deep to secure the Badgers’ win.
