Kentucky vs. Robert Morris final score: Wildcats roll to 87-49 win
UK got their revenge on Sunday night.
After losing to the Colonials in the first round of the NIT last March and dropping one to Michigan State on Tuesday night, UK let out some frustration at Rupp Arena. The Wildcats stormed out to a 24-7 lead early in the first half and never looked back. As a team they shot nearly 50 percent from the floor while RMU made just 23.2 percent of their shot attempts.
Freshman guard Aaron Harrison led the way with a career-best 28 points. Harrison also brought down four rebounds, dished out three assists and recorded two steals. Freshman phenom Julius Randle recorded a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds, and he also blocked two shots. James Young chipped in with 10 points while Willie Cauley-Stein had seven points and 13 rebounds off the bench.
Karvel Anderson led Robert Morris with 16 points, though he needed 17 shots to get there. The Colonials turned the ball over 14 times and only recorded six assists.
