Another power conference school fell victim to the upset bug on Wednesday when North Carolina Central upset North Carolina State, 82-72, in overtime in Raleigh, N.C.

Jeremy Ingram scored 29 points to help the Eagles shock NC State on the road.
NC State joins Miami and North Carolina as ACC teams to be knocked off at home by schools from a smaller conference.
The Wolfpack scored the first seven points of the game, but NC Central responded with a 14-5 run to take control. The Eagles led by six at the half and were led by Jeremy Ingram, who scored a game-high 29 points.
NC Central kept the lead for much of the second half as well, but NC State’s Patrick Wallace hit a three with 2.7 seconds left to send the game into overtime knotted at, 63-63.
The Eagles responded by scoring the first 11 points of the extra session and never looked back.
Neither team shot particularly well overall, combining to shoot 6-36 from three. The Eagles won the battle of the boards, 37-30.
The Wolfpack, who drop to 2-2 and host Florida Gulf Coast next, were led by Anthony Barber, who scored 22 points, including a 12-16 mark from the line.
