Wisconsin vs. Oral Roberts final score: Badgers outlast Golden Eagles at home, 76-67

Frank Kaminsky carried the Badgers, who managed just seven points off their bench.

Frank Kaminsky scored 21 points to lead No. 12 Wisconsin past Oral Roberts, 76-67, Saturday night at home.

The win puts the Badgers at 6-0, and this was their third single-digit victory of the season. Wisconsin beat Florida by six earlier in the year and followed that up with a three-point win over Green Bay.

Wisconsin jumped out to a 9-0 lead, punctuated by a Sam Dekker dunk just over three minutes in. That lead eventually grew to 16 before the Golden Eagles started to battle back. They closed the gap to nine by halftime and climbed to as close as four points in the final six minutes.

Shawn Glover had 24 points to lead Oral Roberts, whose upset bid fell short, in part thanks to a flurry of Wisconsin free throws in the final minute to ice the game. The Badgers were 15 of 18 from the line overall.

Though Kaminsky led the way, his fellow starters contributed almost the rest of the Badgers' offense. Wisconsin managed just seven points off its bench. Dekker (10 points), Josh Gasser (15 points), Ben Brust (12 points, eight rebounds, five assists) and Traevon Jackson (11 points, seven assists) joined Kaminsky in double figures.

From here, things get even harder for Wisconsin. The Badgers face defending Atlantic 10 champion Saint Louis next, before games against Virginia and Marquette.
